Our 2018 Saturdays are not always 4 weeks apart due to some 5 week months and Easter. Most will still fall on the first Saturday of the month except for January and May.

• In January we will be open the second Saturday of the month due to our Christmas Break.
• In May we will also be open the second Saturday due to the May Day Long weekend.

As promised, Back to Health Chiropractic matched the amount raised selling tickets and forwarded the total to The Pyjama Foundation.

WE RAISED A TOTAL OF $1000! We are told those funds are earmarked to go towards gifts for those in foster care in our local community this coming Christmas.

Health Industry Laws make it difficult for us to run a special offer for The Plug, so instead, we raffled a Chiropractic Memory Foam Pillow with all proceeds going to the Pyjama Foundation, an organisation that helps give children in foster care the opportunity to change the direction of their lives through learning.

Introducing Stacey Marshall Dip. RMT

I have lived in Toowoomba for the last 14 years after moving from the Sunshine Coast. During my time on the Coast I worked as a property manager in Mooloolaba and found the profession particularly demanding. With a young family I decided a less stressful career path was for me. 

After completing my Diploma of Remedial Massage in Toowoomba and Brisbane, I realised I was drawn more to the clinical side of remedial therapy, such as injury recovery, rehabilitation and muscle tension release more than the relaxation side of massage. Having clients walk into my treatment room in pain and walk out pain-free is immensely satisfying. Having clients who have been able to cancel shoulder surgery after receiving successful remedial therapy shows how effective remedial massage can be.

As a long-time recipient of chiropractic care, combining remedial massage and chiropractic was a natural progression for me. My clients see far greater results from combining the two than simply massage alone. I’m a firm believer in dealing with aches and pains as they occur, rather than ignoring the discomfort or popping a pain-killer. Regular remedial massage treatments will help keep those annoying aches and pains at bay, so pain medication hopefully won’t be necessary. My clients range from toddlers to the elderly and everyone in between. My therapy is always personalised for each client depending on their needs. Whether it be remedial, sports, deep tissue or relaxation massage, I will work with you to find the best treatment for you and your family.

Thank you to our glaziers, floor repairers, graphic artists, sign writers, models and to all of you who helped us out and persevered with some of our more noisy repairs. We hope you like our new look!

Our Toowoomba practice had an eventful Wednesday afternoon when a slightly wayward car landed in our shopfront window. We were very lucky it happened at lunchtime when no patients were in reception and Debbie was not at the front desk. Thankfully no one was hurt and the driver escaped without injury. To the driver, we are just very glad you are ok!

Sincere thanks go to all our Emergency Services, Tow Truck drivers, Glass Tradespeople, Centre Management, our trusty Centre Cleaner and of course Debbie for swift and efficient handling of all the necessary clean up and rearranging.

Thank you to those of you who were inconvenienced on Wednesday and without question moved your appointments to another day. Thank you also to those of you who have contacted us to check on us and give offers of help (and given plenty of cheek in the meantime to keep us looking at the funny side!)

We will have some delay before we will have new glass frontage but in the meantime, YES WE ARE OPEN FOR BUSINESS AS USUAL. Please come in and see us and excuse our more rustic image while we get the building back into perfect shape.

Can you believe it has been over 5 years since we opened the doors of our two practices?!!

It seems a lifetime ago we were in the midst of signing leases, moving walls, painting, tiling, carpeting, designing furniture, praying equipment turned up in time, installing air-conditioning (for those who know Sonja’s temperament in hot weather – that was the most important addition!) and severely questioning our decision to take the plunge of opening a second business in such a short space of time (were we not stressed enough??)

Over 5 years on and we’re still here… who would have believed it.

Thank you to each and everyone of you who have supported us, had faith in us and have employed us with the privilege of looking after your health, we would not be here without you.

Thank you to our builders, painters, plumbers, carpet layers, electricians, landlords, graphic designers, sign writers, solicitors, accountants, bank managers, friends and family for all your hard work, support, reassurance and continued understanding!

Thank you also to our wonderful front desk team… initially Annette and Debbie and now Kylie and Bianca, (and Kelly and Jess in between) for agreeing to take the plunge with us, holding it all together and taking such good care of us all. We owe you a debt of gratitude. You are the efficient angels on the front desk and the friendly voices on the end of the phones. You are both the face and inner workings of our practices and allow Sonja, Matt and Sarah to simply focus on the Chiropractic job at hand. Thank you for being brave enough to take a risk on us, and for your calm, smooth and amazingly efficient service over the past 5 years. It would not be the same without you.
